Description

Part of the court roll for Compton Murdak recording, inter alia, the surrender by John Atte Welle of a messuage, one virgate and three acres which he holds of the lord at will for the rent of 16s 4d and a heriot of 2 cattle worth sixteen shillings, with sepcified services.

Records also the surrender by Thomas Jones of one messuage and half a virgate; and one messuage with six acres held of the lord at will for heriot of one horse worth six shillings, and twelve pence for the messuage and six acres.
