Compton Verney: early deeds, Compton Murdak, a grant

Description

Grant by Thomas Wedyngton, chaplain; John Withy, chaplain and John Oxhill, chaplain to Hugh Dalby, of the reversion of two tofts and two virgates of land, and all other lands and tenements which Margery, widow of William of Gaydon, holds for her life in Compton Murdak, by gift of the grantors; which said lands and tenements they hold by grant from William of Gaydon, late husband of the said Margery.

To hold the same, after the death of Margery of the chief lord of the fee for services due and accustomed.
