Compton Verney: early deeds, Compton Murdak, a grant

Description

Grant by Margery, widow of William of Gaydon, to Hugh Dalby, of two tofts and two virgates of land, with all other lands and tenements which she holds for term of her life in the fields and town of Compton Murdak by grant of Thomas Wedyngton, chaplain; John Withy, chaplain and John Oxhill, chaplain.

To hold to the said Hugh during the life of the said Margery, of the chief lord of the fee, for services due and accustomed, paying annually to the said Margery at Easter and Michaelmas, seventeen shillings and sixpence. Right to distrain if rent in arrears by one month.
