Description

Copy will of John Cox of Long Marston, labourer, dated 12 January 1827, bequeathing to his wife, Elizabeth Cox, for life, his three messuages in Long Marston, and, after her death - to his son, Samuel Cox, a newly erected messuage wherein the testator resides, with its great garden and use of the pool for water, subject to the payment of £10 to the testator's daughter, Martha Chamberlain - to his eldest son, John Cox, the messuage wherein he (the devisee) lately dwelt, subject to any of the testator's mortgage debts, and to the payment of £10 to the said Martha Chamberlain to his daughter, Phebe Cox, the messuage now in the occupation of Samuel Tracy, with use of the pool for water.
