Letter from Monica Rademacher, Stadtarchiv Hanau, Germany, concerning the death and funeral of Colonel Newsham Peers after the Battle of Dettingen, and the burial of General Jasper Clayton at the Evangelical Reform Church at Kesselstadt, also killed in the same battle. Incloses copy of a page from the Europaische Zeitung, 29 July 1743, reporting these two deaths.
