Compton Verney: early deeds, Compton Murdak, a grant

Description

Grant by Thomas Garet of Stratford-upon-Avon and Agnes his wife, daughter and heir of Philip Jones, to William Skerne and Thomas Alisaundre, chaplain, of messuage with toft and one virgate of land with appurtenances in Compton Murdak, which descended to the said Agnes by right of inheritance after the death of the said Philip her father, together with all other lands and tenements which came to her by inheritance after the death of John Jones, chaplain.

To hold to the said William and Thomas of the chief lord of the fee for services due and accustomed.
