Compton Verney: early deeds, Compton Murdak, a grant

Description

Grant by Richard Dalby of Brokehampton to William Skeyrne and Thomas Alisaunder, chaplain, of all his lands, tenenments, pastures and appurtenances in Compton Murdak, which lately belonged to John Jones, chaplain, with the exception of one messuage and a half virgate of land lying beside the rectory of the said vill, which said messuage and land are held of the College of Warwick.

To hold the same lands and tenements to the said William and Thomas, their heirs and assigns, of the chief lord of the fee for services due and accustomed.
