Compton Verney: early deeds, Compton Murdak, a grant

Description

Grant by Richard Dalby of Brookhampton to John Verney, clerk, John Smyth alias Redhill, clerk and Thomas Hull, clerk, of one messuage in Compton Murdak called 'Dervassales' with all his lands, meadows, pastures, rents and services with appurtenances in the town and fields of Compton aforesaid. Which said messuage with appurtenances he had by gift and feoffment of Thomas Straunge, knight, Richard Ledwych, esq., Robert Busshell, William Derset, John Wyllenhale, Geoffrey Wyllenhale, Richard Wyllenhale, Robert Porter and Thomas Derset. Together with all other his lands, tenements, pastures and meadows with appurtenances in the town and fields of Compton.

To hold all the above premises and appurtenances of the chief lord of the fee for services due and accustomed.
