Cyril Collard: Wellesbourne research papers: files
Description
Files compiled from the 1990s by Cyril Collard during his researches into the history of Wellesbourne during the nineteenth century. His principle interest was the functioning of the rural economy, with particular reference to the agricultural labourer, and the files contain copies and analyses of the major sources available, viz. census returns; tithe and land tax records; school, church and chapel records; directories, newspapers and electoral rolls; farm account books etc.
