Compton Verney: early deeds, Compton Murdak, appointment of attorneys

Description

Appointment by John Verney, clerk, of William Hardyng and John Bond of Combrook as attornies to receive seisin and possession of the manor of Compton Murdak, with all its rights and appurtenances, from John Vampage of Pershore, William Lucy of Charlecote, esqs.; John Ruggeley of Shenstone and John Chetwynde, clerk.

Which said manor they lately had, together with Richard Bole, clerk, Hugh Lache, William Clerk, Robert Godeboure, William Walton and Roger Billesdon, chaplain, by gift and feoffment of the said John Verney, Thomas Hill, John Redehill and William Bokeland, as by their deed more plainly appears.

The said Richard Bole, Hugh Lache, William Clerk, Robert Godeboure, William Walton and Roger Billesdon have already released their rights to other grantors.
