Abstract of Title, of premises in Stowerton [Stourton] and Whichford, reciting deeds of: 1) 1 August 1710, Humphrey White and Frances, his wife of the first part, Henry Baker and Elizabeth, his wife of the second part, William Councer and Thomas Claridge of the third part, and George Westbury of the fourth part, reciting a Fine in Trinity Term last past by Humphrey White and his wife, Henry Baker and his wife, to William Councer and Thomas Claridge to the heirs of the said William Councer upon a messuage in Ascott in the Parish of Whichford, several pieces of land in Whichford and Ascott, and a close in Stowerton called 'Seabridge Close'. The uses of the Fine touching one close are declared to be to the use of the said Henry Baker and his wife for their lives and the life of one survivor, then to the lives of their heirs for ever. 2) 24 April 1726, Alexander Buller devises to Hannah Roberts of Evesham, in consideration of £440, amongst other tenements one aforesaid close in Stowerton to hold to the said Hannah Roberts for 500 years.
