No. 21 Wood Street: assignment from John Tasker of Norwood, Adelaide, South Australia, gentleman, and Richard Henry Harbidge of Alcester, gentleman, to William Tasker of Upper Street, Islington, co. Middx., chemist, of a leasehold messuage in Wood Street, with the following recitals: i) 21 November 1817 : no. 2. ii) 9 April 1842 : will of Thomas Tasker bequeathing: (a) his freehold house in Wood Street wherein he dwelt (and which had been bequeathed to him by his father, William Tasker) to his wife, Mary, for life, with remainder to his grand nephew, William Tasker (son of William Tasker, son of John Tasker his brother): (b) his leasehold messuage on the east of the last-mentioned messuage, late in the tenure of Charles Field but then of Ann Gibbs to trustees on the same conditions. iii) 5 April 1846 : death of Thomas Tasker. iv) 14 July 1846 : will proved v) 6 July 1846 : death of Mary Tasker.
