Compton Verney: early deeds, Compton Murdak, a power of attorney

Description

Power of attorney from Agnes, widow of John Cokkes of Shenington, to William Gurman, to enter, eject occupiers and take possession of all the lands and tenements in Compton Mordok which she had, together with her husband John when he was alive, of the gift and feoffment of the said William Gurman and Geoffrey Clarke, and afterwards to deliver seisin of the same to Thomas Clarke and John Clarke, son of the said Thomas, according to the form and effect of a deed of even date.
