Mortgage in fee to better secure £200 lent on a bond executed 13th November 1783 from Leonard Court the younger to William Wesson of Stratford, maltster, of two messuages in Shottery, one heretofore of William West since of John Mills and the other heretofore of Samuel Kitchen and since of Mary Kenning [thus lease for a year, release has Heming, which is probably correct] together with the pew in the parish church of Old Stratford, and the new erected barn with the land on which it stands, and all the other improved buildings, all of which property was lately purchased by LC from John Elvins and Sarah his wife and John Mills and Hannah his wife, and part of which premises were lately converted into and used as the parish workhouse of Old Stratford, 19-20th November 1783
