Assignment of mortgage: mortgaged premises and other property in Shottery and elsewhere
Description
Assignment of mortgage term to attend the inheritance: it is stated that William Court has now died, but before his death in consideration of £12,000, he conveyed all the mortgaged premises together with other property in Shottery and elsewhere to John Cory of Shottery, gent., and that John Hurst has also died, nominating John Hurst of Broom Court, his son, his executor. In consideration of £200 paid by John Cory to JH, JH with the consent of JC assigned the premises to Samuel Smith of Stratford, gent., in trust for JC, 25th September 1801
