Feoffment from Thomas Townesend of Alveston, yeoman, in performance of the last will of his father, Thomas Townesend, to Robert Dowley of Alveston, clerk, and William Freeman of Hittcott, Glos, yeoman, in trust for Thomas Townesend's brothers, William Townesend of Tiddington, yeoman, and his male issue, and failing this to Edmond Townesend and his male issue; then to John Townesend and his male issue; and then to Richard Townesend and his male issue, and for want of this then to the right heirs of TT, the father, of a messuage or farm called Widowe Walls with the appurtenances, and three yardlands and a quaterne of a yardland and all other lands etc appertaining thereto, 5th January 19 Jas. I
