On the facing page is the covering letter, with envelope, addressed to Richard Savage, Secretary and Librarian of the Birthplace Trust, asking him to present the volume for the acceptance of the Trustees. Inside the back cover has been tipped in the original prospectus for the volume, with loose form to subscribe
