The first leaf and the last leaf are blank. "The liues of Epaminondas, of Philip of Macedon, of Dionysius the elder, and of Octauius Cæsar Augustus" is a reissue of STC 20071 with variant imprint date and an added index. It is a translation by North of a compilation by Simon Goulart of Senlis, partly from the "Vitae excellentium imperatorum" of Cornelius Nepos ("Æmylius Probus"). One of three imprint variants of this edition.
