General note: Not in fact the complete works, but essentially an enlarged edition of: A hundreth sundrie flowres bounde up in one small poesie. "Hearbes" has separate pagination, with divisional title on B1. "VVeedes" has separate divisional title on P3; pagination is continuous. "The steele glas" has title page on ²S1. "The complaint of Philomene" has title page dated 1576 on ²Y4r; "A briefe rehearsall, or rather a true copie of as much as was presented before her maiesties at Kenelworth .." (caption title) has separate register; "Certaine notes of instruction concerning the making of verse or rime in English", quires (D) and ²D. P. 310 misnumbered 216; p. 317 misnumbered 217; numerous other internal misnumberings. Variant: title has "Whoole workes"; many pages in variant settings. Another variant (STC 11639, Greg III, p. 1064-6([dagger])) has title "The pleasauntest workes ..".
