This is a report of Ground Survey in the grounds of the Arden Hotel, Stratford-upon-Avon, on 17 June 1986. The aim is to conduct a survey over the lawn and surrounding path and flowerbed areas of the Arden Hotel, Stratford-upon-Avon, and to determine the outline of any underground structures or objects. Results of this survey are based on the interpretation of the linear profiles produced. Isolated targets which are small in comparison to the wavelength of radiated energy, tend to scatter the radiation and give rise to hyperbolic reflection patterns on the record. Such targets are, small boulders, voids and pipe line features. Interpretation of radar records for walls and cavities, involves looking for an alignment of hyperbolic reflection patterns between parallel survey lines.
