Drawleaf table
Description
A mid 17th-century oak drawleaf table; the central single-plank, mitre-cleated top resting on guides, with a pair of withdrawing leaves of similar construction, each on two draw-bars; above an edge-moulded frieze with applied spandrels; raised on four turned, fluted-baluster legs with moulded stretchers; English, about 1640; the draw-leaf mechanism replaced in a different form; the whole table reduced in length.
