Description

An early-twentieth century piano runner; white satin with gold-piped trim; piece of music embroidered in black along its length, with 'KING HENRY'S LOVE SONG.' embroidered in gold above; to the left 'My Sweet Sweeting' embroidered in gold surrounded by white applique flowers with embroidered gold stems; to the right a wreath in green applique with a bow of cream ribbon around a monogram 'MC' in gold embroidery. From Mason's Croft, Stratford-upon-Avon, the home of author Marie Corelli.
