Cauldron

Description

Seventeenth-century cauldron; cast copper-alloy; three legs, sag-based body with slight concave body base and flared rim flange; founder's mark three semi-circles forming a leaf pattern; either side of rim/body are angular lug handles worn on the underside; a number of small repairs, probably blow-holes when cast.
