Description

A watercolour painting of Shakespeare's Birthplace by Frederick William Newton Whitehead (1853-1938). Whitehead lived in Leamington Spa and produced many paintings of local scenes throughout his life. He also travelled and painted in England (most notably in Dorset), Wales and France.
