Description

Tapestry border, c. 1610. A Brussels tapestry border woven in wool with principle colours being blue/green/yellow/brown - but with significant colour loss, and depicting boys divided by trophies of vines, with in the centre two boys and an animal (leopard?); top and bottom border striped with entwined ivy.
