Armchair

Description

An early 19th century ash ladderback turned armchair with a rush seat. The chair back has five graduated slats beneath nipple finials; flanked by shaped arms raised on baluster supports; the rush seat above a heavy front stretcher with further plain stretchers; English, c.1820;
