Pewter cloak clasp

Description

A cloak clasp; pewter; depicting the bust of a richly dressed Elizabethan woman, possibly Elizabeth I; about 1560; the bust within a decorated diamond shape, within a circle, offset within the circular clasp to leave a crescent-moon shape with pierced foliate decoration; eight circles set around the circumference (the planets?); a larger hemisphere (the sun?) has a brass hook attached. Cracks around hemisphere / hook base.
