The Tempest

Description

A bronze model, or maquette, inspired by 'The Tempest'. Sculpted by Greg Wyatt in 1998. On the reverse of the model is a tablet bearing the Epilogue spoken by Prospero. The model stands on a metal base, which rested on a (temporary) cherrywood pedestal. The model was subsequently welded to a steel plinth, on 6.1.1999. The plinth has a patinated finish, produced at Pangolin Additions by an oxidation process using a salt water solution brushed onto the steel.
