Description

A mid nineteenth century Staffordshire pottery figure of Shakespeare; the bard shown seated, wearing brown and green striped breeches, yellow hose and a white jacket, holding a book in his left hand. Mounted on an ovoid base with a blue-draped seat and a large two-handled urn.
