Description

Drawing, 1837. A framed and glazed pencil and chalk drawing dated 1837 of Holy Trinity Church and the River Avon at Stratford by William Turner of Oxford (1789-1862). In the bottom left hand corner is the inscription 'Stratford on Avon 1837 WT'. A label on the reverse of the picture indicates that at one time it was sold by the Ruskin Gallery, 51 Chapel Street, Stratford-upon-Avon.
