Cloak

Description

Cloak, c. 1820-1880. Woman's cloak, apparently worn by resident of Stratford almshouses, and made from navy blue/purple wool, lined with blue silk, and with an interlining of unidentified fibres. It has a deep collar, and 2 silk inner sleeves - one of which is detached. It fastens with metal hook and eye, and brown silk ties at the neck.
