Glass vase

Description

A tall glass cylindrical vase designed by John Hutton, the vase made in 1964 by the Whitefriars Glass Company and embellished with Hutton's engraving depicting the dance of the reapers and nymphs from Act IV Scene 1 of 'The Tempest'. Formerly located in the reading room of the Shakespeare Centre library, now in the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust's reserve collections.
