Pencil and wash drawing by John Masey Wright (1777-1866), O.W.S., of 'Hamlet', Act 3, Scene 4, Line 53: 'Look here, upon this picture'. Depicts Hamlet and Gertrude, seated. Mounted, unglazed. From the Abbott & Holder sales catalogue: 'These all come from an album of J.M. Wright drawings, they are charming, spontaneous sketches in pencil and brown wash.'
