Oak joint stool

Description

A mid 17th-century low oak joint stool; the rectangular moulded top above channel-moulded frieze; raised on column-turned legs with plain stretchers; English, about 1670; top rotted and split; two corners repaired, with later braces beneath; the whole wire-brushed and refinished.
