Skimmer

Description

An early 19th century brass and wrought iron skimmer; circular with circular holes of 0.5 cm perforated in three concentric rings, made of brass; iron handle attached with copper rivets; hook end and first 23 cm of handle is flat, 3 cm wide, continuing 35 cm to head is 1.5 cm wide of round section; signs of wear to edge; small piece broken of handle at point of attachment to head.
