Flare-up showings

Experimental performances staged by the RSC. Not a public event. Excerpts from the following plays were performed: 15 November: The Original Greek from a fragment of The Frogs (Aristophanes), Fragment of a lost Greek Tragedy (Houseman), Agamemnon (Aeschylus), The Oresteia (Aeschylus), Electra (Sophocles), Electra (Euripides) 16 November: Persiand (Aeschylus), The Pelopponesian War (Thucydides etc), Aristophanes (Cavender), Bacchae (Cavender). Apart from Persiand and The Pelopponesian War, full casts have not been indexed but only names of performers, authors and creative teams.
